Kumbhakarṇa

Kumbhakarṇa
biographical name
the king of Mewar, whose rule is dated ca. A.D. 1433–68, is known as the author of the Saṅgītarāja, an encyclopedic work on thetheory of music, dance and esthetic production. He also wrote the Rasika-priyā commentary on Gīta-govinda.
